The Ghanaian defender is set to reunite with the Greek top division giants, with personal terms between both parties reportedly agreed upon over his services

Ghana international left-back Baba Rahman is close to reuniting with Super League Greece side PAOK FC on a loan deal from English Premier League outfit Chelsea FC, claimed a report from the Greek media.

The 29-year-old former FC Augsburg defender, who played on loan at the Thessaloniki-based side in 2021, could once again team-up with his former temporal employers in the Greek top-flight for the upcoming season.

A publication by a Greek portal Sport24.gr has indicated that PAOAK and Baba have already agreed to personal terms and are now waiting for his current side to sanction the transfer move this summer.

Baba spent the 2022/23 football season on loan at relegated English Championship side Reading FC and could yet again be farmed out to suitors ahead of the 2023/24 League campaign.

His contract with Chelsea FC is due to expire on June 30, 2024 and interested clubs vying for his services are to fork out €1.2m if they are to land him this summer as per his transfermarkt valuation.

The Tamale-born defender so far has 50 international caps for Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
