FC Barcelona Atlètic duo David Oduro and Abdul Aziz Issah are in line for a call-up to the Black Stars for the upcoming pre-World Cup friendly against Mexico.
According to reports from Spanish outlet SPORT, the two youngsters are being considered by new head coach Carlos Queiroz as he begins shaping his squad ahead of the tournament.
However, their availability could depend on Barcelona B’s push for promotion, with the club likely to block their release if they qualify for the playoffs.
Issah has been one of the standout performers this season, scoring four goals and establishing himself as a regular in the side.
The talented winger has already tasted senior national team involvement, having received his first call-up last year for the Unity Cup held in UK and even made his debut against Trinidad and Tobago.
On the other hand, Oduro has also impressed with consistent displays, although he is currently sidelined with an injury and is expected to return soon.
The Black Stars will face Mexico on May 22, before they wrap up the pre- World Cup friendlies with Wales in June.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L of the 2026 World Cup alongside Panama, England and Croatia national team. They will open their campaign against Panama on June 17 before taking on England on June 23 and Croatia on June 27.
