Bayern Munich, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs ‘keeping tabs’ on Joseph Aidoo with him ‘ready to leave’ Celta Vigo, Kickgh.com understands.

We can exclusively report that the player’s representatives has ‘welcome an approach’ from Bayern Munich, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

 

The 26-year-old centre-back has come through the famed Ghanaian club - Inter Allies and became an important part of the team under Willie Klutse, who later on took the reins as technical director.

 

Aidoo has spent the last three seasons at Celta Vigo. They paid $10 million to sign him from Belgian side KRC Genk in 2019.

 

He has become a key player for the Sky Blues and won the Player of the Month award for the second straight month - in January and February, 2022.

 

KickGH are reporting that Aidoo is now ‘ready to leave’. It is said that he has indicated to the club that he ‘wishes to explore other options’ next season as he featured 32 times for the Abanca-Balaídos outfit in the just ended campaign. 

 

Aidoo was named in Black Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.

 

According to a statement from the Ghana Football Association, the Celta de Vigo star hurt his ankle and will not be available this evening [Wednesday] against the Barea at the Cape Coast Stadium.
