Newly-promoted Serie B side, Benevento Calcio have penciled down Ghanaian international, Alhassan Masahudu as a perfect left-back for their outfit ahead of the pre-eminent season, Kickgh.com can reveal.

The 23-year-old, who is owned by Italian giants Udinese, has been on loan stints with Perugia and Latina since he was signed by the Serie A campaigners in 2013.

Alhassan has struggled for game times with the Stadio Friuli outfit since they price him away from fellow Serie A side Genoa on a permanent deal.

Benevento are still currently in the market looking for more stars to reinforce their squad and have shortlisted the talented wing-back as one of their prefered material.

According to GianlucaDimarzio, a deal could be reach in the coming days as Alhassan is keen to join the newcomers for the forthcoming second-tier league season.

The 23-year-old was part of the Black Stars squad that participated in the 2012 Afcon tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
