Ghanaian international, Bernard Morrison has announced his departure from Tanzanian giants Simba SC after two years.
The 29 year old joined the Lions two seasons ago after he had taken the Tanzanian topflight by storm with their sworn rivals Young Africans.
After switching to the Reds, the mercurial playmaker made a great impact making him one of the fans favourite at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, having led them to the league title in the 2020/21 season.
Also, he was adjudged top scorer in the Simba Super Cup which was held before the start of the just ended season.
The ex- AshantiGold star took to his official Facebook page to confirm his exit from Simba SC and expressed gratitude to them for handing a memorable stay in Darees Salam.
"The time has come to finally close this chapter. If I’m to say something about my stay with Simba SC Tanzania i will write for the whole day without stopping because i had so much fun and felt the love from the office of the club to the dressing room. As we all know everything has a beginning and an end, this is mine. I’m sorry for those hurt by my departure. For a single shilling spent on me by this wonderful club will forever be remembered, for all the shouts and love by the fans can’t be forgotten."
