Exciting Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Nana Adjei-Boateng scored in CFR Cluj 5-2 victory over FC Petrolul Ploiești at the Ilie Oana stadium of the Romanian Liga 1 on Monday night.

Romanian attacking midfielder Ciprian Deac put Dan Petrescu’s Cluj ahead, before Daniel Bîrligea, Rangelo Janga and Anton Maglica scored the second, third and fourth goals respectively.


Winger Mario Bratu came off the bench to pull one back, but Bismark Adjei Boateng wrapped things up from his stunner in the 80th minute for Cluj.


The tempo was high, and soon Stefan Purtić rounded out the scoring in the game by scoring the home side's second goal in the 83rd minute as they succumbed to a defeat in front of their dejected fans.


Adjei-Boateng's compatriot Emmanuel Boateng made a cameo appearance as he was brought on in the 70th minute by gaffer Dan Petrescu.
