Black Stars midfielder, Mohammed Kudus says he's very happy to score in Ajax's 3:1 victory over Rangers in the UEFA Champions League(UCL).
The left-footed midfielder cum striker assisted Ajax's first goal, as he brilliantly set up Steven Berghuis to slot home the opener on the fourth minute.
The 22-year-old registered his name on the scoresheet on the thirtieth minute, as his right-footed strike deflected to double the Amsterdam giants lead.
It's Mohammed Kudus' fourth goal, and second assist, in six games in the UCL this season.
Unfortunately, Ajax couldn't qualify from the group, with Napoli and Liverpool progressing into the next knockout stages.
Speaking after the game at Ibrox, Kudus Mohammed said he's elated to score again in the UCL.
"I am very happy and most importantly we got the win, so big credit to all the team," he said.
"The goal happened so fast but I just moved the ball and struck it with my right foot."
"Yeah it deflected but as a striker that’s what I need," he added.
Mohammed Kudus is expected to shine for Otto Addo's Black Stars at the World Cup in November-December this year.
