Black Stars midfielder, Elisha Owusu will not be part of Ghana's squad that will come up against Nigeria and Uganda in the upcoming friendlies.
Owusu sustained an injury while playing for his French club, Auxerre, in their Ligue 2 win against Caen over the weekend.
After several medical checks, it was confirmed that Elisha Owusu won't be able to recover on time to participate in the Black Stars matches against Super Eagles and the Cranes of Uganda.
However, RB Salzburg midfielder Forson Amankwah has been handed a late call up as his replacement.
The former WAFA whizkid will now join the Black Stars in Marrakech, Morocco as the team is expected to have a full house before they neck-it-down with Nigeria on Friday, March 22, followed by a match against the Cranes four days later with both scheduled to come off in Marrakech, Morocco.
