The agent of Ghana international, Asamoah Gyan, has arrived in Turkey ahead of his client switch to Besiktas, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.
The captain of the Black Stars of Ghana is set to leave China after he was demoted to the Shanghai SIPG reserve side.
Kickgh.com earlier reported that the 30-year-old striker was on the radar of three European clubs including Besiktas, Fenerbahçe and Konyaspor.
The arrival of his agent indicates he is on the verge of joining the Turkish top-flight side.
Asamoah has a year left on his contract with the Chinese side.
