The skipper of the Black Stars of Ghana, Asamoah Gyan, is on the verge of completing his loan move to English side Reading FC, Kickgh.com can report.
The 30-year-old forward has arrived in England and is currently in Berkshire discussing a switch to Madejski Stadium.
The former Sunderland forward is set to undergo a medical tomorrow [Monday] ahead of a season-long loan to the Championship outfit per Kickgh.com understanding.
The Ghana international has also been linked to several clubs including Hull City, West Ham United and Sunderland after he was demoted to the reserve side of Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.
It is believed that he is joining the Royals as a replacement for injured Deniss Rakels.
Asamoah is the all time topscorer for the senior national team of Ghana.
