Maccabi Tel Aviv FC is set to announce the signing of MŠK Žilina forward Henry Addo on a long term contract.

Kickgh.com can authoritatively report that the Israeli giants paid a whooping €750,000 signing on fee for the services of the Ghanaian youngster.

However, the sign-on fee can reach up to 1.25 million euros, depending on the premiums," reports the Israeli website sport5.co.il.

"The agreement is closed," said MŠK Žilina manager Karol Belaník.

Addo was linked with a move to the Belgian Standard Liege, he performed excellently in the European Conference League against another Belgian club, KAA Gent.

The Yellows head coach Robbie Keane has made no secret of his desire to bolster the club's forward this winter after his attacking-line isn't too sharp as he's expecting.

While the arrival of Addo will add some much-needed depth to Maccabi's forward-line, the 20-year old has performed admirably at the Slovakian club, spending his entire career in Žilina. Through the academy and U19, he worked his way into the main team and became a key player of MŠK.
