European giants Manchester City have tabled a surprise bid to Premier League rivals West Ham United for the service of Ghanaian midfielder Kudus Mohammed.

The 24-year-old was on target for the Hammers in their pulsating 1-1 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion last Saturday to mark his third in the league so far.

The mercurial midfielder has now scored three goals and provided an assist in 12 Premier League matches for the Hammers despite facing a five-game ban for misconduct.

According to reports carried by Fichajes, the Premier League champions have submitted an offer of €80 million for the Ghanaian playmaker hoping it will be accepted in the upcoming winter transfer window. 

The Cityzens are really looking to make some few signings to strengthen their squad amid their recent struggles having gone with just a win in their last 12 matches in all competitions. 

In his debut season with the Hammers, the attacking midfielder made an impactful contribution across 45 matches, tallying 20 goal involvements with 14 goals and 6 assists.

He also made the cut in Canal+ best African XI of last season and also in the just-held 2024 CAF football awards.
