The hugely talented attacker has passed mandatory medical examination ahead of his move to the English Premier League outfit.

Ghana international Kudus Mohammed is set to be announced by West Ham United as the club's new signing in this summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old arrived in London earlier today to undergo a medical tests ahead of his switch to the Hammers from Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax in the ongoing transfer window.

Mohammed Kudus will be signing a five-year contract with a year option of renewal with West Ham and the deal worth €45 million including sell-on clause of ten (10) percent.

Premier League trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea were among other clubs to have registered an interest in Kudus earlier in this summer's transfer window. Brighton & Hove Albion also reached an agreement in principle to sign Kudus earlier this month but the deal hit snag.

He has spent three seasons in Amsterdam, scoring 27 goals and providing 12 assists in 87 games across all competitions for Ajax.

Kudus Mohammed has also scored seven goals in 24 appearances for Ghana including two in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars kingpin, who scored a hat-trick in Ajax 4-1 away win over PFC Ludogorets in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League qualifiers, confirmed that the game was his last appearance for the Amsterdam based club.

“This was my first hattrick for Ajax, but not the best game. I had better performances,” Kudus Mohammed said after the game.

“Yes, I think so [on his move from Ajax this summer]. But let's see what happens in the next days. The talks are going on.”

“We have to see if an agreement is reached in the next days." He concluded.
