Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton believes Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Elvis Manu had a “difficult” season at the Falmer Stadium.
The 22-year-old was limited to nine appearances for his club last season before he was loaned to Huddersfield Town.
“He [Elvis Manu] came in and can play up front or in a wide area but it was a very difficult season for him. We want people we feel can improve us and give us good options up front". he told The Argus
The former Feyenoord winger has been reported heading back to the Dutch Eredivisie after his unsuccessful stay at English second-tier side.
He joined the Seagulls last summer from Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee.
Manu is eligible to play for Ghana after switching his nationality from Netherland.
