Dortmund were linked with an attempt to sign the teen sensation after Aning and his parents has visited the club's training earlier this year.
The 18-year-old left-back has been playing for the Ajax U-18s this season, and also made five appearances for the club in the UEFA Youth League group stage. Two of those appearances in the UEFA Youth League came against Borussia Dortmund, where he must have made quite an impression on the Bundesliga heavyweights scouts.
Kickgh.com understands that the talented guardsman, who can left Ajax Amsterdam on a free transfer this summer because he's yet to sign a professional contract, has been offered a slot to play for Borussia Dortmund’s U-23s team in the German Liga 3 next season.
