The 19-year-old promising winger has completed his transfer switch to the Talentai following his successful trials over the past days

Lithuanian Pirma Lyga side FK BE1 have announced the signing of Canadian-born Ghanaian starlet Taryck Tahid on a three-year contract ahead of the January transfer window.

The promising budding winger is linking up with the second-tier campaigners on a free transfer following his last spell with Albanian Kategoria Superiore side KF Skënderbeu U19 setup last term.

Those utilising the Central Stadium of Jonava facilities announced the capture of the Ghana U20 star across their various social media platforms: ''19-year-old Canadian football talent Taryck Jordan “TJ” Tahid has committed his future to FK BE1! Youngest goalscorer in Canadian Premier League history - at just 16! FIFA U-17 World Cup - Canada. UEFA Youth League - hat-trick on his debut.''

The Black Stars prospect had this to tell his club's communications network: ''I spent almost a month on trial at BE1. The high standard of training, professional coaching staff, excellent facilities, and beautiful city of Kaunas really impressed me. But it was the club management’s vision for my future that ultimately convinced me — BE1 is the best choice for my career at this stage.”

Club's president Andrius Markevičius added: ''More and more talented international players are putting their trust in our club and in Lithuanian football.Lithuania can be not only a place where talented players leave to pursue their careers abroad, but also a destination where young footballers come to grow and develop! TJ is a talented, ambitious player who is hungry to improve. We believe we can achieve great things together.”

Tahid is yet to earn his international cap with the Ghana senior national football team, the Black Stars after featuring for the Black Satellites team twice so far in his international football career.
