Outstanding Clinton Dombila once again flourished for FC Ararat Yerevan who painfully suffered their first defeat of the season over the weekend.
After two consecutive victories, the White Eagles lost their winning streak after a 1-2 defeat to FC Shirak Gyumri at the Republican Stadium last Saturday night in match-day 3 of the Armenian topflight championship.
Ivorian international Mory Kone opened the scoring account for the visitors from spot-kick and subsequently snatched his brace and also doubled his side's lead in just eight minutes into the second half.
FC Ararat finally pulled one back in the dying embers courtesy Moussa Kante who also converted from 15-yards.
Clinton Dombila, 19, made the starting line up once again and lasted the entire duration for the homesters.
He was unplayable with his ability to defend gallantly and also drive forward more often with a great dribbling ability earning him a stunning 7.9 rating on Sofascore- second best in the Ararat squad and third best in the entire game.
FC Ararat Yerevan despite the defeat are still on top of the IDBank Premier League with 6 points and will play as guests to West Armenia in the next round of matches.
