Ghanaian youngster, Clinton Dombila flourished with a goal and assist for FC Ararat Yerevan in their resounding 3-0 win over Gandzasar in a preparatory friendly towards the second phase of the ongoing season.

The 19-year-old looked highly motivated this time after returning into the line up and delivered a five-star display and earned two-goal involvements for himself in the game before making way in the 67th minute.

The first goal was recorded in just twelve minutes from the blast of the referee's whistle courtesy Tunisian international Rayen Mzoughi - which they managed to hold on till half-time

Just four minutes into the second half, Clinton Dombila arrived from the flanks to struck into the net brilliantly from a decent cross that came from the left side to double the lead for the White Eagles.

He served Armenian star Gor Lulukian for their third in the 65th minute to seal the victory and stage a perfect revenge over Gandzasar whom they lost to narrowly couple of days ago.

FC Ararat Yerevan will continue to test their strength ahead of the second round as they face Alashket next on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
