Cypriot club AEL Limassol has signed Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Toku on a season-long loan from Belgian outfit OH Leuven.
The 24-year-old sealed the deal on Friday after passing his mandatory medical. Toku has previously played for Fremad Amager, making 39 appearances, and Botev Plovdiv, with 70 appearances, before transferring to OH Leuven.
Last season, he was loaned to Danish club AaB Fodbold, where he contributed to their promotion to the Danish Superligaen. Despite his efforts, AaB Fodbold declined the option to sign him permanently, returning him to OH Leuven.
Toku featured in 20 games, scoring once across all competitions for AaB during their promotion campaign.
Now, he joins AEL Limassol with hopes of making a significant impact in Cyprus.
