Ghana forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh provided an assist in FC Zurich victory over FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League on Sunday evening.

Congolese international Jonathan Okita opened the scoring for FC Zurich after just 14 minutes into the game before Lindrit Kamberi doubled the lead for the Blue and White lads.

Two minutes to full time, Afriyie Barnieh set up Antonio Marchesano to seal victory for FC Zurich.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker has established himself as a regular starter at FC Zurich since his arrival at the club after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Afriyie Barnieh has now scored two goals and provided two assists in 12 league appearances for FC Zurich in his maiden season.
