Black Stars midfielder, Daniel Kofi Kyereh returned from injury to feature in Freiburg's home win over his former club FC St Pauli in the German DFB Pokal.
The Breisgau Brazilians humbled the lower division side by a precious 2-1 at the Europa-Park Stadion to cruise into the next round of the competition.
The 26 year old sustained a muscular injury weeks ago and missed their games against FC Nantes in the Europa League and Bayern Munich over the weekend.
The good news is that, the mercurial midfielder has finally shaked off his injury in a very quick fashion and coincidentally returned against his former club earlier today.
He was subbed on just at the start of the second half to replace South Korean international Woo Yeong Jeong and is fully fit and poised for their subsequent matches.
Daniel Kofi Kyereh has netted 3 goals in 11 matches across all competitions so far and will be hoping for a place in the Black Stars squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
