The Norwegian top division outfit are on the verge of securing the signature of the 20-year-old promising winger of Ghanaian descent from his Danish parent club this summer

Danish-born Ghanaian winger Michael Opoku is set to join Norwegian Eliteserien club Sarpsborg 08 FF from relegated Danish Superlig side Lyngby, an emerging report from the Norwegian media has stated.

The youngster, who is also a transfer target for fellow second division side AC Horsens, is all set to leave his boyhood club in this ongoing transfer window given the hot pursuit by those vying for his services for the new football season.

Per Norwegian television channel TV 2, the two clubs have already agreed on a transfer fee in the region of €1m in excess over the Ghana-prospect talented winger move this summer.

The report added that personal terms between the 20-year-old and the Norwegian outfit are yet to be ironed out, with the transfer deal expected to be completed in the coming days.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Copenhagen-born star still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage having played for the Denmark U19 & U20 national youth teams
