West Ham United manager, David Moyes has heaped praises on Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed following his explosive start and consistent top performances since his arrival.

The 23-year-old joined the Hammers on a five-year deal in the last summer transfer window from AFC Ajax.

He's been very impressive since his arrival and has gradually established himself as a mainstay in the team- having made the line up in their last couple of matches.

Speaking ahead of their visit to Tottenham tomorrow, the experienced Scottish gaffer has admitted he didn't expect Kudus to settle down so quickly and hopes to see more of that in their subsequent matches.

"He [Mohammed Kudus] is probably started better than I would have anticipated. We eased him in during the first couple of games but since then we’ve found that he was scoring or making goals for us. Now he's starting and doing much of the same, and we hope that continues."

Kudus Mohammed has scored five goals and registered an assist so far in all competitions for the Irons.

He will hope for another starting spot against Tottenham Hotspur in their next round of matches in the Premier League.
