Iraqi First Division club Al-Jolan Sport Club have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Godfred Yeboah on a one-year contract ahead of the new season.
The former Karela United guardsman signed the dotted lines after passing his medicals with the Fallujah-based outfit.
The 24-year-old contract includes an option to extend, with a clause - suggesting that he will become an obligation if he garners enough playing time and Al-Jolan qualify for the Iraqi Premier League.
Yeboah has been unattached since leaving the Ghana Premier League side Karela United in 2021 after discharging his contract.
Al-Jolan are a newly-promoted club in the Iraqi second tier, who intends to stay and even qualify to the Iraqi top tier at the end of the 2022/23 season.
