The 19-year-old defender of Ghanaian heritage could sever ties with the German giants in the summer

Borussia Dortmund are planning to part ways with Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Prince Aning, according to a report from the German media.

The talented left-back, who joined the Signal Iduna Park campaigners from Dutch heavyweights Ajax in 2022, has struggled for form - with recurring injuries being his plight in his journey so far with the U19 team ranks set-up.

And now Dortmund-based tabloid Ruhr Nachrichten has claimed the union between the Ghana-prospect stopper and the Bundesliga outfit could soon come to a close in the near future.

His current deal with the former league champions will expire on June 30, 2026 and suitors could lure him on a free transfer should such terms be annulled mutually between both parties.

Given his Ghanaian parentage, he still remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Netherlands U16, U18, U19 & U20 national youth teams.
