Doxa Katokopias Ghanaian duo, Ernest Asante and Benjamin Akoto Asamoah were in action as their club came from behind to beat Olympiakos Nicosia 2-1 in the Cypriot Premier League on Friday.
Asante played the entire throttle of the game, as Doxa secured the three maximum points at the 15,590 Capacity Makario Stadium in Nicosia.
Akoto Asamoah, who's a former Atlético Madrid B star replaced Croatian forward Christian Iilic in the 76th minute as Beninese midfielder Tidjani Anaane scored the winning penalty in the 90+11' minutes as Olympiakos Nicosia suffered a heart-wrenching final heartbreak.
Cameroonian forward Lewis Enoh scored the opener for the home side before Nikola Trujić equalised with just over 20 minutes to end proceedings.
Asante has scored six goals in 22 matches whilst Akoto Asamoah has two goals this season as Costas Sakkas men bosses the 5th spot on 38 points.
