The 21-year-old attacker of Ghanaian descent has completed his loan switch to the Spanish lower division side until the end of the ongoing football season

Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Arvin Appiah has joined Spanish Segunda División outfit Malaga on a six-month loan deal from top-tier side UD Almera in this winter transfer window.

The former Nottingham forest man, who was loaned to fellow Segunda División outfit CD Tenerife during the summer window, has again been farmed out to the La Rosaleda Stadium outfit until the end of the LaLiga 2 22/23 football campaign.

An official announcement from Malaga over the signing of the 21-year-old attacker reads: "The young winger arrives at the Blue and Whites on loan from UD Almería. The player, who will soon join Pepe Mel’s discipline, signs a contract until the end of the season."

Having been born in the Netherlands and raised in England to Ghanaian parents, Appiah could still switch allegiance to represent Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the England national youth teams.
