The 20-year-old sensation frontman of Ghanaian descent was outstanding with his five-star performance for the newly-promoted elite division side against their fellow top-flight newcomers in yesterday's encounter

Dutch-born Ghanaian starlet Don-Angelo Konadu was named Man of the Match in Lommel SK 1-3 away victory against SK Beveren in the Belgian Pro League on Friday.

The talented budding starlet, who is on-loan from Dutch heavyweights Ajax, netted a brace on the 24th-minute and 48th-minute of the game, with the 56th-minute strike of Belgian team-mate Chris Lokesa enough to help his side triumph over the hosts at their favourite home grounds, Freethiel Stadion.

Following his impressive outing during the clash, the league's technical study group were left with no other choice than to hand him the individual coveted accolade at the end of the contest.

Konadu has so far featured in 7 games by bagging 3 goals across all competitions for Lommel SK in this current 26/27 Belgian Pro League season.

Given his Ghanaian roots, the Amsterdam-born native forward still remains eligible to switch international allegiances to play for Ghana at the senior level on the international stage despite playing for the Netherlands U18, U19 & U21 national youth teams so far in his international football career.
