Dutch-Ghanaian forward Kevin Brobbey was on target as Krasava ENY secured a 2-0 victory over Spartakos Kitiou FC to advance to the next round of the Cyprus Cup.

After a goalless first half, Brobbey broke the deadlock in the 74th minute, producing the crucial finish that put Krasava ENY ahead in the tightly contested encounter.

The visitors later sealed qualification in stoppage time through Luiyi de Lucas, completing a comfortable win.

Krasava ENY dominated possession with 56 per cent of the ball and created the clearer opportunities, recording four shots on target compared to Spartakos’ two.

Brobbey’s goal proved to be the turning point of the match, highlighting his growing importance to Krasava ENY’s attacking department.

The forward will now look to maintain his scoring form when Krasava ENY return to league action against Karmiotissa on October 17.
