Ghanaian defender Ebenezer Annan delivered a standout performance in Red Star Belgrade’s 3-0 victory over Radnicki Nis in the Serbian Super Liga on Saturday, marking the occasion with his first goal for the club and an assist.
Annan was instrumental in Red Star’s dominant display at the Gradski Stadium, setting up the opening goal in the 10th minute with a precise pass to Bruno Duarte, who made no mistake in finding the net.
Thirteen minutes later, the fullback got on the scoresheet himself, making a well-timed run before finishing clinically to double Red Star’s advantage. His offensive contribution highlighted his growing influence in the squad.
The Serbian giants maintained control of the match, and in the 71st minute, Mirko Ivanic added a third goal to secure a comfortable win.
Annan’s impressive display further cements his role in the team, with his first-ever goal for Red Star serving as a confidence boost.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian duo Joseph Opoku and Ibrahim Tanko remained on the bench for Radnicki Nis throughout the match.
Following a loan spell earlier in the season, Annan has now made 26 appearances in the Serbian top-flight, registering one goal and two assists.
