The former AZ Alkmaar youth star has shrugged off reports in the local media of failing a trial session at Dutch side FC Emmen.

Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi has dismissed reports of not impressing the technical handlers of newly-promoted Dutch Eredivisie side FC Emmen during a week test.

Reports in the media said the 31-year-old forward failed to make grade with FC Emmen after making an appearance in their pre-season exercise for the upcoming season.

He has been unattached since last month after ending his stint with Israeli club, Beitar Jerusalem where he featured in 21 matches.

“I haven't failed trials at the any club. I was training with FC Emmen which I picked up a knock,” Gyasi told Kickgh.com in an exclusive interview.

“I have recovered from it and there are lot of offers which I am considering with my agent. My next destination will be known in the coming days”

Gyasi previously played for Telstar, De Graafschap, Jong FC Twente, Heracles, Roda JC, Aalesund, FC Dallas, Samsunspor and Boluspor.

He made his senior debut for the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars in a 5-1 win over Congo during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in 2017.
