Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Boateng was on target for Rio Ave in their pulsating 1-1 home draw with Vizela in round 14 of the Portuguese Primiera Liga.
The Riovistas were very desperate of winning this fixture to end their recent draw streak but unfortunately had to extend it four, having chased the game at some point.
French forward Samuel Essende opened the scoring account for Vizela on the 55th minute, before Ghana's Emmanuel Boateng scored on the 72nd minute to level the score.
The ex- Levante forward is currently on a good form despite their jittery start of the season, having scored four and provided an assist in thirteen matches.
Rio Ave after fourteen matches, are currently on the 15th position with 12 points, just a place above the relegation zone.
They will play as guests to Vitoria de Guimares in the next round of games.
