Ghana striker Emmanuel Boateng scored to propel Rio Ave to a slim hone win over Boavista in the Portuguese top-tier league on Sunday evening.
Rio Ave picked their fourth victory of the 2022/23 season after beating Boavista 1-0 in their match-week 12 clash at the Estadio dos Arcos.
The first half of the game was entertaining as both teams efforts of opening the score proved to be futile.
On the 64th minute, Boateng opened the score for the Green and White lads which eventually became the only goal to recorded in the game.
He was in action with his compatriot Abdul Aziz Yakubu, who enjoyed the entire duration of the match.
Boateng has scored four goals in his eight appearances for Rio Ave this season so far.
