Leeds United are close to signing highly-rated left-back Gideon Mensah from Auxerre this January, Kickgh.com understands.
Mensah has been a key cog for the east-central-based French Ligue 1 club during the 2022/23 campaign, making 9 appearances as he boasts a great electric pace which allows him to get into dangerous positions down the left flank.
His form hasn't gone unnoticed by Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch, who he worked with during his days at Austrian top tier side Red Bull Salzburg.
Kickgh.com can now confirm that Leeds are set to sign the talented prodigy, with his club expecting an amount not less than €12 million Euros (GHc130,918,146.84)
Mensah started his career with WAFA (West African Football Academy) before moving to Austrian side FC Liefering – one of Red Bull Salzburg’s feeder clubs.
