Swiss Super League outfit FC St. Gallen 1879 have completed the loan signing of Enoch Owusu to bolster their attacking options in the 2024/25 season's campaign.
The Italian-Ghanaian player will participate in professional training sessions and initially gain match experience with the club's U21 team. The Swiss club holds an option to make the move permanent.
The club's official statement reads: “Offensive player Enoch Owusu is moving to Eastern Switzerland on loan from Inter Milan. The 20-year-old will take part in the professional training sessions and will initially gain match practice in the U21 team of FC St.Gallen 1879. FCSG has an option to buy.”
Owusu comes from the youth department of Inter Milan. The offensive player was most recently loaned to Novara FC in Serie C, where he made four appearances and recorded one assist.
The Italian youth international spent most of his career so far in Primavera 1 with Inter's U19. In 57 games, he scored ten goals and assisted four more.
"We have been interested in Enoch for a long time. He is a young, talented offensive player who can be used flexibly," said Roger Stilz, Head of Sport at FC St.Gallen 1879.
"He will be integrated into our training program with the professionals and will gain playing time in the U21s, so the integration will work well. We are happy that Enoch is with us," he added.
