Ghana winger Ernest Nuamah made his first-ever appearance for Olympique Lyon in the French Ligue 1 against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday evening.
Nuamah was acquired on a season-long loan deal from Belgian Jupilier League side RWD Molenbeek after completing a sensational move from FC Nordsjaelland in the just ended summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old was handed starting berth in Lyon embarrassing 4-1 home defeat to Paris Saint-Germain at the Groupama Stadium.
A first half brace from Kylian Mbappe and other goals scored by Achraf Hakimi and Marco Asensio ensured PSG a convincing victory.
French international Corentin Tolisso grabbed the consolation goal for Olympique Lyon when he converted a spot-kick awarded to them in the 74th minute of the game.
Nuamah lasted for 79 minutes of the game before he was replaced by Jeffinho.
He is among Ghana's 25-man squad list invited for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers final match against Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on September 7
