Ghana U23 star Ernest Nuamah was on target in FC Nordsjaelland away loss to FC Copenhagen in the semis of the Danish Cup on Thursday evening.
FC Nordsjaelland failed to reach final of the 2022/23 Danish Cup after losing to Copenhagen 7-6 on aggregate after the two-legged fixture.
Copenhagen recorded a 5-3 win over the Yellow and Red lads in the second leg tie at the Parken Stadion after losing to Nordsjaelland in a five-goal thriller in the first leg fixture fortnight ago.
Nuamah registered his name on the score sheet after brilliantly converting a spot-kick awarded to his side on 13th minute of the game.
He was in action with 18-year-old Osman Ibrahim, who also featured for 45 minutes for Nordsjaelland before he was substituted after the break.
Nuamah has netted 11 times and provided four assists in 27 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland across all competitions this season so far.
