Ghana winger Ernest Nuamah displayed a five-star performance in Olympique Lyon's important home win over Olympique Marseille in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.
Nuamah was voted the man of the match when Olympique Lyon inflicted 1-0 defeat on Marseille in the match-week 20 fixture at the Groupama Stadium.
It was an important victory for Lyon as they keep their top-flight survival hopes alive, sitting above the drop zone with 19 points after match-week 20 of the French Ligue 1.
A 37th minute strike from Alexandre Lacazette was the only goal produced in the game despite the goal glaring opportunities and efforts made by the two teams.
Nuamah came close to double their lead but his effort was denied by the Marseille goalkeeper and had 80% of his total passes to his teammates accurate with 4 key passes and 7 major dribbles.
He enjoyed the entire duration of the game with sterling performance which earned him the man of the match award.
Nuamah arrived at Olympique Lyon from Danish Super Liga side FC Nordsjaelland during the last summer transfer window and has managed to score one goal and provided an assist in 16 matches for the club.
