Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Ernest Poku delivered a five-star performance in AZ Alkmaar's away draw at PFC Ludogorets Razgrad in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.

Poku, who lasted for 78 minutes of the game, set up the first half two goals for the Red and White lads against the Bulgarian side at the Huvepharma Arena.

The 20-year-old teed up Ruben van Bommel to open the scoring for AZ Alkmaar in the 13th minute and provided another beautiful assist to Seiya Maikuma to extend their lead after six minutes.

After going down 2-0 in the first half, PFC Ludogorets Razgrad piled up intense pressure on the visitors to level the score after the hour mark.

Duo Ivaylo Chochev and Kwadwo Duah registered their names on the score sheet in the 61st and 63rd minutes of the game, respectively.

The efforts from the two teams of scoring the match winner proved futile as the match ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

Young goalkeeper Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro enjoyed the full duration of the match for AZ Alkmaar while Ibrahim Sadiq watched the entire duration from the bench.
