Ghanaian midfielder Frank Junior Adjei was on target as IFK Värnamo succumbed to a 3-2 narrow defeat to Brommapojkarna at Grimsta IP Stadium on Sunday.

Despite making a bright start to the game, Värnamo found themselves behind with just 27 minutes on the clock courtesy of Alex Timossi, who fired a confident bullet-like right-footed shot past goalkeeper Hugo Keto.

After recess the adventurous Brommapojkarna threatened to run riot as another Ghanaian starlet Ezekiel Alladoh scored their second goal on the afternoon.

Värnamo's Junior Adjei dinked-in a long range 66th minute effort from outside the box, his first goal of the season in the Round 4 fixture of the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Swedish midfielder Simon Thern drew level, emphatically scoring against the run of play, seven minutes before the full-time whistle.

But the Brommapojkarna boss made a small tweak or two which prompted an immediate improvement, and they got their reward in the 90+1'-minute when defender Kaare Barslund climbed off the bench to score a beautiful free-kick late on which gave the hosts to keep the three points.
