Frank Acheampong, the Ghanaian international, scored for Henan FC in their 2-1 victory over Zhejiang Professional in the Chinese Super League.
In the 24th round of the league, Acheampong played a crucial role as Henan FC hosted Zhejiang Professional. Despite an early setback when Leonardo gave Zhejiang Professional a lead just four minutes into the match, Acheampong equalized in the 22nd minute with an assist from Bruno Nazario.
Henan FC took the lead before halftime when Zichang Huang scored, sealing the victory with no further goals in the second half. Acheampong played 79 minutes before being substituted by Yihao Zhong.
Since joining Henan FC in February 2024, Acheampong has scored three goals and provided two assists in 20 appearances. His contract with the club is set to run until December 2025.
