The former Great Olympics man has brought his five-year marriage with the Swedish third-tier side to an end ahead of the start of the new football campaign
Ghanaian attacking midfielder Emmanuel Yeboah has parted ways with Swedish Ettan Norra side Umeå FC ahead of the commencement of the 2023 league season.
The 25-year-old left-footed winger's current deal with the Umeå Energi Arena outfit is to come to a close on Dec 31, 2023, but has now been cut-short as he heads for the exit as a free agent.
A statement from Umeå FC over the release of Emmanuel Yeboah reads: "Now it is clear that midfielder Emmanuel Yeboah, 25, is leaving Umeå FC after five seasons."
"Emmanuel Yeboah came to Umeå FC ahead of the 2018 season from Accra Great Olympics (Ghana). During his five years at the club, he has played 123 games and scored 12 goals. He was also a big part of Umeå FC advancing to the Superettan in the 2019 season."
"We thank Emmanuel for his efforts at Umeå FC and wish him the best of luck in the future!"
The Accra-born attacking midfielder is yet to be capped by Ghana on the international stage.
