Ghanaian international Majeed Ashimeru has emerged on the radar of English Championship side Burnley in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Ashimeru had an incredible season in the Belgian top-flight league with RSC Anderlecht where he racked up three goals and provided two assists in 31 matches.
 
Kickgh.com can exclusively report that the 24-year-old midfield enforcer has appeared as a top target for Burnley after becoming a big admirer of his former boss, Vincent Kompany who appointed the new manager of the Clarets last week.
 
Kompany left his job at RSC Anderlecht after guiding them to finish third place last season to make a return to England to take up Burnley's coaching job earlier this month.
 
The Ghanaian midfielder has been a big admirer of Vincent Kompany after cementing his place in the starting line up of RSC Anderlecht in February.
 
Ashimeru joined RSC Anderlecht on a permanent basis last summer in a after a successful loan spell at the Lotto Park outfit.
 
His current contract with RSC Anderlecht will expire in the summer of 2025.
