Berekum Chelsea's goalkeeper's trainer, Eric Amponsah has joined the Sudan national team technical staff led by Ghana's James Kwesi Appiah, Kickgh.com can exclusively report.
The 40-year-old is joining the North African country as their new goalkeeper's coach and is stepping in to replace Fatawu Dauda- who left the role months ago to join the Black Stars.
Amponsah, is expected to arrive in Sudan on Wednesday to finalize everything as he is set to join hands with coach Kwesi Appiah, his assistant Ignatius Osei Fosu and the entire technical team to establish a formidable side for the Secretarybirds
Eric Amponsah, is an experienced trainer having worked with clubs like Medeama SC, Hearts of Oak and was with Berekum Chelsea just recently.
He played a vital role making goalkeeper Richard Attah a Black Stars-bound and number one in the country when Hearts of Oak achieved the domestic treble in the 2020/21 Ghana football season.
