Ghanaian young-sensation David Oduro is expected to join FC Barcelona's first team training today following his impressive performance with the youth side in previous weeks.
The 18-year-old joined the Blaugranas on a three-year deal in the last summer transfer window from Accra Lions after an impressive trials.
Having started playing recently, the enterprising lateral has made three outings so far having debuted against Real Sociedad B and subsequently featured also against Lugo and Amorebieta in the Spanish Primera RFEF.
His outstanding performances with the U-19 has caught the good eyes of manager Hansi Flick who has handed him a promotion to get into first team training which will be held earlier today for the team to begin preparations towards their next game.
He will hope to give a very good account of himself by making good use of this opportunity in order to establish himself as a mainstay with the senior side as he looks ever ready and poised to compete Alejandro Balde and Gerald Martin on the left.
David Oduro will definitely partake in Barcelona Athletic's next game against Gimnàstic on Saturday, November 23, and hopes to make the first team squad for the Celta Vigo trip the following day.
