Fatawu Hamidu models in Ghazl El Mahalla FC new kits ahead of 2024/25 season

Former Medeama SC defender, Fatawu Hamidu models in the unveiling of his new club Ghazl El Mahalla SC jerseys ahead of the 2024/25 football season.

The lanky left-back joined the newly-promoted Egypt Premier League in the early stages of the just-closed transfer window from Medeama SC for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old delivered a standout performance for the Tarkwa-based club in their last season's CAF Champions League campaign as well as their Ghana Premier League success two seasons ago. 

Hamidu, made 19 appearances for Medeama SC in the league last season, scoring one and providing four assists.

Ghazl El Mahalla have been in and out of the Egyptian Premier League having spent much years in the second-tier and are looking for to establishing themselves as a mainstay this time around. 

He's been with the Egypt's Argentina for sometime now having recently starred in their 3-0 preseason win over Capsi- hoping to gel himself very well into the team before the commencement of the new campaign. 

Abdul Fatawu Hamidu's scintillating performances earned him some call-ups into the Black Stars in recent times where he debuted in a 3-1 win over Liberia in a friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
