Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored a beauty of a goal to propel Leicester City to a precious 0-1 away win against Charlton Athletic in an epic round 3 fixture of the English Championship.
The game was really an exciting one at the Valley and the Ghanaian was the difference with a good goal to give the Foxes a very important victory after last week’s defeat.
After an even brawl, there were no goal produce as both teams made descent goal attempts but lacked sharpness in the final third.
However, Fatawu Issahaku opened the scoring account in just three minutes into the second half with a thunderbolt of a strike from the right flanks after racing past Josh Edwards and that’s definitely the best way to get his first of the campaign.
His compatriot Jordan Ayew lasted the entire duration of the game while Fatawu played 83 minutes before making way for Belgian international Wout Faes.
Both players will hope for another starting berths from Marti Cifuentes when they host Birmingham City at the King Power Stadium.
