Spanish-born of Ghanaian parentage, Nico Williams has joined the rest of his Athletic Bilbao teammates for pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
The 22-year-old played an instrumental role recently in Spain's fourth Euros success having contributed three goals at the end of the tourney including one in the final against England.
Right after the competition, the mercurial winger went on holidays and had almost three weeks break to rest in order to have himself adequately ready for the new season.
He has now finally reunited with his teammates at the Estadio San Mamerse and took part in the team's full training session today having gone through speeding, ball juggling and other exercises looking very poised and ready.
Reacting to his return, Nico said; "I'm back! I'm really looking forward to this season."
Nico Williams is currently being chased by lots of European giants including FC Barcelona, PSG etc in the ongoing summer transfer window but it has widely been reported it is very likely he will stay with his club in the upcoming season
He will to return to action against Premier League side Aston Villa on Wednesday, August 7.
