St. Gallen gaffer Peter Zeidler insists that he didn't see the incident which resulted in Ati-Zigi's sent off but will review it later.
Ati-Zigi was shown the red card after kicking Petar Pusic on the 96th minute for time wasting.
Grasshoppers beat St. Gallen by 3:2 in the Swiss Super League.
Latte Lath and Fabian Schubert gave St. Gallen an early 2:0 lead , before Francis Momoh and Ndengeh William's brace sealed a 3:2 comeback for Grasshoppers at the Letzigrund Stadion.
St. Gallen are fifth with six points meanwhile, Grasshoppers are third with seven points, with a game in hand, after four games.
Speaking after the game, Peter Zeidler said he didn't see the incident which resulted in Ati-Zigi's red card.
"I really did not see (the incident)",
"I was not happy to be led, But you have to stay calm and serene.
"If it happened the way you explain it to me, it's inexcusable. But I would like to see the images again, what happened before, what happened after and obviously this gesture,” he added.
