Bristol City attacker Antoine Semenyo has made a return to the Black Stars squad list after a long injury lay-off.
Semenyo sustained injury after making his debut for the senior national team of Ghana against Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The English-born of Ghanaian descent was among the twenty-one players invited by Ghana coach Otto Addo for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
The 22-year-old has had an amazing start for Bristol City in the 2022/23 Championship season after scoring three goals in 4 appearances after recovering from a knee injury.
Ghana will play Brazil at Stade Oceane in Le Harve, France on Friday, September 23, 2022, before facing Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022
The two matches will serve as preparatory games for the Black Stars ahead of the 2022 World Cup to be staged in Qatar
